Environmental Responsibility
Reducing waste and energy use is where we make the most practical difference. Our specialist waste operation, TWBCO, sits at the heart of this, helping clients optimise how waste is handled, cut what goes to landfill, and reduce cost and environmental impact at the same time. On a recent large project all waste was collated and disposed of correctly, and we are extending that approach across more of our work.
Alongside waste, we deliver energy-saving improvements such as LED retrofits, maintain solar PV and EV charging on client sites, and use energy monitoring and efficient planned maintenance to keep systems running well and lasting longer. Where we procure materials, we favour sustainable, eco-certified options such as BREEAM-compliant products.
ESG in practice
We keep ESG practical rather than theoretical. On the environmental side we retrofit LED lighting, maintain solar PV and EV charging, and use energy monitoring and planned maintenance to run systems efficiently and extend their life, which reduces energy use and the waste from premature replacement.
Waste is where we do the most: through our specialist waste operation we help clients optimise handling and divert more from landfill. On the social side, a directly managed, well-trained workforce and strict health, safety, and fire compliance keep the buildings we look after safer for the people who use them. The result for clients is lower energy and waste, longer asset life, and estates that stay safe and compliant.
