Through TWBC’s nationwide network, we manage waste for single sites and multi-site estates anywhere in the UK. Commercial & Business Waste Collection

We arrange scheduled and on-demand commercial and business waste collections to match how each site produces waste – from wheelie bins and front-end loaders to man-and-van collections, grab hire, and skip and tankering. We size and place the right containers, set frequencies and flex capacity for peaks, so collections run to a plan without you managing a local supplier at each site.

Waste Streams We Handle

We handle the full range of commercial waste streams: general and residual waste, mixed and dry recycling, food waste, confidential and secure waste, WEEE (electrical and electronic), and hazardous materials including asbestos. Every stream is separated and disposed of correctly, so you stay compliant and can show exactly what happened to your waste.

Duty of Care & Compliance

As a registered waste carrier, broker and dealer, we handle your waste in full accordance with your Duty of Care under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, providing the waste transfer and consignment notes that evidence compliance. Hazardous and electrical waste is managed under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 and the WEEE Regulations. In England, Simpler Recycling also applies – since 31 March 2025 businesses with 10+ staff must separate dry recyclables and food waste from general waste – and we arrange the separated collections that meet it.

PPVS delivers waste management through our sister company, The Waste Brokerage Company (TWBC), a registered waste carrier, broker and dealer. You deal with one FM partner, while TWBC handles collection and disposal.

Do businesses have a legal duty of care for their waste?
>

Yes. Under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 you must ensure waste is stored, transferred and disposed of correctly. We take on those obligations and provide the transfer and consignment notes that evidence your compliance.

Do you handle hazardous waste such as asbestos?

Yes. We handle the full range, from general residual waste through to hazardous materials including asbestos and WEEE, each separated and disposed of correctly under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 and the WEEE Regulations.

How often is commercial waste collected?
